Deborah Mead MCIPR has a wealth of experience in the media and public relations industry in the South West. A former evening newspaper reporter, Debbie has spent the last 20 years advising large organisations on a range of communications activities. She has the CIPR Diploma as well as a diploma in Crisis Response Communications Management. Her hands-on skills include developing websites, gaining positive media coverage, media handling and production of newsletters, programmes and advertising materials.
Daniel Mead, BA Leisure Marketing. Daniel graduated from Bournemouth University with a 2:1 after specialising in e-marketing. He is up-to-date with the latest social marketing tools and has experience of events management and the leisure industry. Before joining PIKA PR he was responsible for marketing activities at a design agency in Bath and was a digital marketing executive for an international publishing company.
Naomi Cudmore. Following an English degree at Oxford University, Naomi spent just under ten years in publishing before diversifying into media management for a sailing team (BP Ocean Racing Team, Global Challenge 2004-05). She then brought her editorial, design and media skills together through roles in NHS communications working on in-house media, PR, graphic design and marketing. She set up her own business, based on Exmoor near the Devon and Somerset border in 2007 and provides PIKA PR with a high quality graphic design service. Naomi has an interest in all things nautical having sailed around the world in the Global Challenge and is a member of Appledore Pilot Gig Rowing Club Ladies’ and Mixed Teams.
Freelance team members. Our core team is small to ensure that we can offer our clients value-for-money. However we have a back-up team of PR experts across the South West with a wealth of experience and upon whom we can call on either for very specialist communications and public relations work or when we get exceptionally busy. We will always bring in the appropriate resources to ensure we meet our clients’ needs in a timely way.
